The Nouveau Riche are people who are considered to belong to the top echelons of society, part of the social elite because of the money and power that they wield. However, everything has a beginning, and for the Nouveau Riche, this beginning is as humble as they come. Become by definition, Nouveau Riche means new money, meaning that they have only acquired their wealth fairly recently within their lifetime.
